Rocksmith: el nuevo Guitar Hero con una guitarra de verdad

Ubisoft nos muestra cómo será Rocksmith, su nuevo juego musical que nos permitirá usar una guitarra real y aprender a tocarla al ritmo de temas de grupos como Rolling Stones o Nirvana. Se lanzará en Xbox 360 y PlayStation 3.

Con este título esperan que los jugadores aprendan a tocar la guitarra, tocando notas y acordes reales en una guitarra con cuerdas de verdad. El juego es capaz de detectar la habilidad del jugador y adaptarse al mismo.

De hecho, se venderá con un adaptador para conectar la mayoría de guitarras eléctricas del mercado. Además, están en negociaciones con fabricantes como Gibson para vender una guitarra específica para el juego.

El disco ofrecerá 45 canciones de artistas como Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Nirvana o Animals. Se lanzará en septiembre, y no se ha especificado si ofrecerá un sistema de tienda digital para canciones adicionales.

Pero aprender también conlleva diversión, aunque no exenta de sufrimiento, os lo garantizo. Porque llegar a tocar bien la guitarra no es nada sencillo, aunque también depende de lo que queramos tocar. Algo para lo que ‘Rocksmith’ tendrá distintos niveles de aprendizaje según el estilo que queramos. Da igual que seamos unos novatos con este instrumento, porque habrá cabida para todos.

Reconozco que la noticia de este videojuego musical me había dejado completamente indiferente, pero si se le da una buena base didáctica y las canciones respetan los acordes y posiciones a lo largo del mástil para no coger malos hábitos, puede ser una buena herramienta de aprendizaje. Simplemente conectamos una guitarra a la consola mediante el puerto de USB de la PS3 o Xbox 360 y listo. Listos para darle caña al instrumento.

Homefront [2011][Español][Full]

Acción en primera persona de corte bélico, para este título situado 10 años después de un colapso económico en los Estados Unidos y la posterior invasión de tropas Coreanas.

Amarga, cruel y dramática. Primeras horas de guerra. Muerte o liberación.

La verdadera prueba de fuego de Kaos Studios está a la vuelta de la esquina. Tras haber desarrollado el interesante aunque no demasiado llamativo Frontlines: Fuel of War, el equipo neoyorkino afronta con Homefront el videojuego más ambicioso y también más prometedor de su corta vida como equipo de desarrollo.

Tras probar el título en diferentes versiones, ferias y estados, testeamos en la redacción los tres primeros niveles en la beta más avanzada y cercana al master final antes del momento de su review. La invasión de Norteamérica toma forma en este esperado shooter.

En Homefront encarnaremos a Jacobs, un miembro de la resistencia recientemente reclutado por un pequeño grupo que luchará contra la descomunal superioridad del ejército Norcoreano. Nuestro poco organizado, pequeño y mal equipado grupo de acompañantes se convertirán en héroes en un videojuego que le da mucha importancia a la historia, en un marco en el que los shooters cada vez prestan menos atención a la narrativa.

Elementos como el guión escrito por John Milius, el desarrollo del argumento y otras características como el multijugador son partes que ya hemos tocado en los numerosos avances con los que ya cuenta a sus espaldas el videojuego en las páginas de la revista, de modo que en esta ocasión nos centraremos en los puntos puramente relacionados con lo que vamos a ver ante nuestros ojos cuando pongamos nuestras manos sobre el Modo Historia. Al hilo de esta mención al guión del juego hay que matizar que la relevancia que Homefront le da al proceder de los acontecimientos a lo largo de su campaña no se muestra únicamente en una premisa argumental muy interesante, sino que también se proyectará en misiones muy variadas y frecuentes cinemáticas que viviremos en primera persona, y que servirán para narrarnos los acontecimientos que sucedan durante las partidas.
